I love you Dad!
Below is a prayer that I came
up with when I was running one day.
I hope you enjoy it.
January 5,2006
Glory to God in the Highest;
Thank you Jesus for a better lifestyle and a healthier me. It may be my hard
work, but it’s your will. Thank you Lord for giving me the opportunity to live
a healthier life. With you in my heart, I shall continue to treat my body as a
temple of faith in Christ.
Amen
-
Faith:
It all starts with faith, regardless of what faith you fallow. You
need to believe and have faith in your God and yourself.
-
Nutrition:
Focus on nutrition! 70 to 80% of reaching your weight loss goal is
in nutrition. Count your calories. Also, when you sit down to eat,
give thanks and ask yourself. Is this the type of food that was
eaten when Christ walked the earth? If not, don’t eat it. I
personally stay away from fast food, fat and sugar.
-
Exercise: No!
you don’t need to spend 10, 15 or even 30 hours a week doing
exercise. The Lord don’t want you to work your tale off at the
gym. I do it because I compete and have made it into a passion to
cross that finish line 1st in my Lords name Jesus Christ.
Exercising 3
to 4 times of week for at least 30 to 45 minutes should work well
for the majority of out there. Just make sure your able to get your
heart rate up to about 65-75% Cardio is heart healthy and lifting
weights is a plus to build muscle tone and will benefit you bones as
your body ages. Never lift heavy weights and when lifting, form is
more important then weight.
Exercise for beginners: Walking, Yoga,
Pilates, Zoomba & or Aerobics. Group Class work well to
get you motivated.
Important! Always! Always, ask
you Doctor if your healthy enough to start any kind of exercise
program.
Corinthians 5:14
He indeed died for all, so
that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him
Please! Before starting any
type of workout. Always consult your doctor to see if your healthy enough to
exercise.
